It was really fun. Tried it as a ranger but got stuck at floor 300.

The problem: I had no potions left and my attacks just caused 6 damage per turn. How should i beat the endboss ?

I thing the problem was that i got the merchant girl half the floors, so at this floors i was unable to collect gold to improve my stats. The last few floor -where i definitively had needed the girl- she doesn't appear any more. As i reached the top, all portions were used. The restart option is useless at this situation, because you just start the last battle over and over again, but no way to buy new drinks.

This broke the game a bit, thats because you just get 3 stars.

ps: the ranger-attacks don't have any hint on what king of stat they relay. I guess dexterity but improving dexterity doesn't had any effect on the damage, the same with strength. So, how to improve damage ?

I'm pretty sure most guys just click it to see where to find the picture seen on the "games"-site.

Well it worked last year, got me over 10,000 views on the first day :D

Well, were did you get this "extra heavy paint" from ?

Half the time I've painted something, the physic-engine calculated a new path for the ball.
So it seems like the gravitational effect of this "extra heavy paint" cases some problems.

Example: I've navigated the ball over a pit to a portal. So far it works. Now i try to bring the ball from the other side of the portal to the exit. But suddenly the first part with the pit doesn't work any more after I painted something at the second part.
So the calculation doesn't seem to be very reliable.

In combination with the fact that you included a "undo"-button, but no "erase"-button, this means that the player have to start over again after your physic-engine changed it's calculation.

All in all nice game, witch is already playable, but there is still something to work on.

It has it's difficult.
Not because the quest is too heavy.
It's just because you often can't click a object, but you can interact with it and one of your objects in your inventory.
That makes it unnecessary difficult.

So, maybe think about to add something like
"Something is missing here" or
"i need to wake him up first"
You've still done this with the signs (which actually worked pretty well).
Just tell the player that he can do something here.

Aren't there any turrets or did i missed them ?
And: seriously ? the cheapest upgrade is for 600 bucks ?
I've played 10 minutes and only got 300$ !
Means: the upgrades are way too expensive (especially because the last one is the only desired one).

So, missing parts are:
- upgrades (firepower, clip-size, walking speed, ...)
- turrets (something like machine-gun, sniper, rocket-launcher, flamethrower)
- upgrades (for the turrets, just a maybe)
- upgrade (magnet, could be really / very / absolutely useful)
- ( and so on ) ....

Don't know, but as it is now, it gets really boring after a short time.
Maybe at the next try.

I was thinking about adding turrets but wanted to launch the game before I went on holiday. This isn't a tower defense game, it's a top down shooter with barriers just to make the game a bit more interesting (don't get mistaken by the title). I will also add the other updates you mentioned once I have time. Thanks for the feedback :)

+1 star for the solid gameplay.
+1 star for the upgrade-system (i love upgrades).
-3 stars because it even contains premium content.

What else should i say ?
Till level 29 it's beatable. Level 29 is impossible, i thing.

Lots of potential that got wasted with the premium-stuff.
What a pity.

Frederik77 responds:

Thanks for the stars. Please try the new version, it's a little easier.

Really fun game.

- But i missed one upgrade ... where is the magnet ?
- another thing: that about the enemies brake apart if you damage them: as a kind of health-bar.
Just think about it ...

Never the less, it's still awesome.

Well pretty nice game.
I like the idea with the spells: You can collect them and use them when ever you need it.
First time i see something like this.

But it definitively need a global upgrade-system:
- Poison (tower + trap) : longer duration and/or more damage
- fire (tower + trap): more damage / chance to ignite enemy
- spike (tower + trap): damage / chance to cause bleeding
- more income: higher chance to find coins / spells
- goblins: they collected all the treasure and they will try to get it back after it got stolen.
Each upgrade-point will add another goblin (up to 5). Moving fast to the lost treasure,
being slow when carrying it. Enemies will take the treasure when they meet an goblin
at the path.
Upgrade-points: either with exp and leveling up or by giving stars if a level is finished without
loosing a treasure / it's even untouched.

Something like this would make the game way more interesting.

very bad !!
- I had to click some of the buttons twice before they react to it.
- The fire tower do "less" damage than the electricity towers (maybe because they don't do ANY damage)
- the meteor skill did'n reload after the first use

So, simply dislike this game.

Unbalanced !!

Upgrades are way too expensive or bounty is too low.
Please change one of the points above.

In addition: what about adding global upgrades available via the earned stars ?

After that, it will become a good game.
